Well, everyone is out to ruin my life.

At Purdue, I didn’t really have a great relationship with my roommate because we had nothing in common. At UK last semester, I made the stupid decision of getting a single room and being alone all day every day. I decided to live in a dorm again for this year because I’m a transfer and haven’t met many people, and it would be the best place to do it. I was going to get a suite and I was so excited to see who my roommate would be and hopefully meet a lot of awesome people.

And now I’ve gotten an email saying that I’m not going to get a dorm. They won’t let me know if I got one until August 1st at the very earliest, but, if I somehow do get one, I won’t know until after classes start.

Really, UK? You’re going to wait until summer, after everyone is back home and has lost their other living options, to tell everyone? Really smart! It’s also really smart of you to increase your incoming class size when you were already struggling to house everyone!

Being a transfer in a single room is rough. Especially since all my friends are actually busy with all of the homework that I don’t have because most of my classes are bullshit.
